Metis: Weaving an Infinity Journey to Honour One’s Identity
Through “The Giving Tree: A Retelling of a Traditional Metis Story” by Leah Dorion participants will explore Metis culture, symbolism and identity. Participants will gain knowledge of cross-curricular learning through hands on Arts activities that are embedded within this unit. This workshop will promote an Arts rich approach to embed Aboriginal content.
